I initially ordered a small (I’m 5’8″ and 155 lbs), but it was way too tight — I couldn’t even get my arms comfortably through the sleeves. I exchanged it for a medium, and that fit perfectly. The sleeve length is just right, and the overall fit feels tailored without being restrictive.
The quality of the coat exceeded my expectations — it’s made of heavy cotton with a nice inner liner and plenty of functional pockets. I’ve worn it throughout October in temperatures ranging from the low 40s to 50s, and it keeps me warm even on breezy mornings. The material does a good job blocking the wind.
For reference, I have an athletic build with slightly broader shoulders than most people my height, so keep that in mind when choosing your size.

I purchased this jacket in May 2025 just before the two coldest months in Australia being June and July to wear when riding my motorcycle.
It is now my go to jacket whenever the temperature drops because whilst the cold wind still cuts through my motorcycle gloves; it is impervious to this jacket.

I’m always hesitant to buy clothes online — jackets, in particular. I’m 6′ tall, weigh 166 lbs., and have long arms. The design of this particular jacket is particularly appealing to me, but I was concerned about the fit and in no way wanted to undertake the onerous task of sending back something with sleeves too short or waist too tight. I read several of the reviews, including one in which the reviewer reported a height and weight similar to mine, but gave no indication of sleeve length; he was very satisfied with his choice. I wavered, still uncertain. But it struck me (or I read somewhere onsite) that it’s best to choose the size you usually wear — in my case, that’s a Large. So, hoping I wasn’t wasting my money, I placed the order. The jacket arrived promptly, in a vacuum-sealed bag. All I can say now, is WOW. Beautiful design, no flaws, no smell. Perfect fit. Comfortable to wear by itself, or with a sweater or sweatshirt beneath. Everything works. This jacket is magnificent.

I have been looking for an inexpensive, lightweight field jacket for a the mild Fall and early winter here in Georgia. There are other very nice m65 reproductions available for $$$ but that’s not what I wanted right now.
I gave this 5 stars not because it’s the best jacket ever, but it’s maybe the best $99 I’ve ever spent. I can’t believe the quality I got for the money. It is much more substantial in terms of material than I expected at that price point. The QC is good. No stitching errors that I can see. The fit is great. I’m an XL in almost everything and the XL of this jacket is a perfect fit. I have longer arms, and the sleeve lengths are great for me, not too short. The cut is good and it fits well across both my shoulders and torso.
The zipper is plastic but has worked fine so far.
I got the green color, and it is lovely.
I’m enjoying my jacket for the chilly fall days without getting hot and sweaty inside.

The waist, neck and wrist cuffs are very elastic and wide so there are no tight spots around my wrist. I’m 5′ 11″ and 155 pounds and ordered a medium. This jacket fits perfectly. It’s definitely full length in the torso with longer than normal sleeve length. I know this because I have trouble wearing off-the rack long sleeve shirts due to having long arms. The cuffs come all the way down to the heel of my hand. The fit across my chest and stomach is perfect. The style is kind of quasi-military with epulets on the shoulders. The jacket blocks the wind and between the thin liner and the outer shell, it’s reasonably warm on a spring or fall day. The warmth and fit are important because I ride my motorcycle wearing it and a loose fit, short sleeves, or thin material won’t keep my chest warm at 70 mph. So far it works well when I’m riding on a cool day. The zipper has a button-down flap covering it to keep wind and water from entering through the zipper itself.
